This season Chulo Pony pays tribute to Grace O'Malley, a 16th century Irish princess and pirate who had a penchant for plundering ships for clothing and leaving the gold! Grace married twice before she was twenty, each time gaining title to her new husband's castle and then kicking them out. Her father said she could never go to sea because her long hair would get caught in the rigging, so she cut it off, earning herself the nickname O'Mahle meaning "The Shorn One." "This collection is all about strength of character infused with old world sensibility juxtaposed with a new world irreverence. These clothes are not for the faint of heart," says Chulo Pony's Art Director Crystal Heald. Chulo Pony's uncompromising take on femininity incorporates beauty, humor and boldness resulting in a spirited yet romantic collection.
